Phone based Management for Better Handling of Calls
A lot of inbound and outbound calls are made every day. Technological advancements have allowed us to recognize who the caller is and where it is coming from. However, there are times that you do not want to reveal our identity when you are making an outbound call. There are also times that you are so busy you were not able to answer the last call. These and other situations can be handled well by adopting phone features to have a phone-based management of calls.
Some of the features that can be used for call management are Call Return, Call Waiting, and Caller ID Blocking. Below are the functions of these features.
Call Waiting
The Call Waiting feature is used to entertain callers while you are speaking to others on the phone. However, there are also times that you want to disable the call waiting even if you are still on the phone. This is now possible on a per call basis. You can send all subsequent new callers to voicemail through a one number access by just dialling certain digits
Call Return
The Call Return is another phone feature that you can use to automatically call back the last call that was received. You just have to press certain digits and there will be an automatic call back for both answered and unanswered calls. This is very helpful particularly if the last call you missed was among those that you are expecting.
Caller ID Blocking
There are times that you do not want to display details about you when making outbound calls. This is now possible by turning on the Caller ID Blocking feature. You can do this by just pressing certain digits before dialing the number that you want to call. By doing this, the Caller ID feature will be blocked on that particular outbound call. On the other hand, if you want to unblock the Caller ID you just have to press another set of digits. Another way is by just simply hanging up before dialing.
